For your vacation, start from Bastia in the north of the island, the city with the Place Saint Nicolas, with typical shops and cafes, and Terra Vecchia, the ancient heart of the city that runs from the Place de l'Hotel de Ville through the Port to the Old Citadel.
Then begin to fall toward the south to the Old Port, the tourist town par excellence made by the beautiful surroundings of fantastic beaches, Cala Rossa to Pinarellu peninsula.
At the south awaits the fantastic town of Bonifacio, the "Gibraltar Race" wrapped in a pleasant and lively atmosphere, where you can walk up and down within the ancient city for the Escalier du Roi d'Aragon from the Place du Marché to the fantastic beaches of Plage de Chains and Plage de l'Arinella.
So climb on the west coast to the beautiful Gulf of Valinco, visit the small fishing village of Porto Pollo and then make a splendid feast of sunshine in the magical Plage de Portigliolo between white sand and blue sea.
Further north in the Golfe de Port stop to admire the imposing Calanques the fantastic rock formations that emerge from the sea as if they were truly magnificent views of the towers offering.
Between the beach and then enjoy the other a nice fish dish with perhaps a side dish of cheese and a glass of brocciu Vermentinu, and go on your vacation with the sun still high in the sky between the cliffs and villages in a corner of the world really fantastic .
